May 2019 National Water Quality Data Management Training Workshop – Overview

This training workshop equipped state, territorial, and tribal staff—along with their EPA counterparts—with the knowledge, contacts, and tools necessary to collect, manage, and analyze data more efficiently and effectively; improved the reporting process and the impact of other communications with partners and the public; and ultimately will aid water quality restoration and protection. The event was made possible through a cooperative agreement between the Environmental Law Institute and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and was held at the National Conservation Training Center in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, from May 29 to 31, 2019.
