NOAA Estuarine Programs Office

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has recently established a NOAA Estuarine Programs Office. Estuarine activities occur in every division of NOAA; these include circulation and tide, remote sensing, fishery biology and pollution studies, Sea Grant-funded investigators, inventories of anthropogenic inputs, and atlases of living marine resource distributions. The NOSS Estuarine Programs Office will serve to coordinate these various efforts.
