Summary

We have lost over half of our wetlands in the lower 48 states. We are expecting accelerating losses of coastal Louisiana marshes to erosion, sediment starvation, and sea level rise. Kesterson Wildlife Refuge has been converted into a death trap. But is this the whole story, and is it really so bleak? I think now.
