ELI Professional Program

The ELI Professional Program is a unique membership society for environmental law practices and professional services firms. The program promotes the highest practice and ethical standards in the field. Members receive unsurpassed networking, educational, and dialogue opportunities. The program provides an interactive exchange of expertise and professional resources among ELI’s staff, program members, and the Institute’s diverse constituency. In addition to receiving the field’s finest publications, ELI’s Professional Program members take advantage of intensive legal practice courses, regional seminars, and forums on key policy issues. Membership in the program is highlighted by ELI’s prestigious Annual Award Dinner, attended by the nation’s leading environmental professionals in various sectors — corporate, private practice, government, and public interest.

Through unique policy forums, training courses, and educational products, ELI’s Professional Program assists members who aspire to excellence in environmental law.

Program Benefits for ELI Professional Partners ($8,500/year)
  • A table for 8 at the annual ELI Award Dinner (2020 will not feature an in-person event but will instead be a virtual award ceremony).

  • Online subscription to ELR-The Environmental Law Reporter®, including ELR Update via email and one print copy of ELR’s monthly journal. Subscription is limited to one office location; subscriptions for additional offices available at a discount.

  • Access to ELI monthly "Climate Change Briefings," 30-minute teleconference briefs on legal and policy developments in the climate change arena.
  • Practitioner deskbooks and monographs, a copy of each new published work during the membership year.
