Draft Guidance for Constructed Treatment Wetlands Released

After nearly three year's effort, the Interagency Workgroup on Constructed Weltands has published Draft Guiding Principles for Constructed Treatment Wetlands: Providing Water Quality and Wildlife Habitat. The 39-page draft document offers guidance for siting, constructing, and operating treatment wetlands. It also outlines current policies, permit programs, regulations, and resources, as well as providing answers to frequently asked questions regarding constructing wetlands to treat an array of wastewater discharges.
