Summary
In 1990, Congress appropriated a separate add-on to the wetlands budget of the Environmental Protection Agency specifically to help support the development and advancement of state wetlands protection programs. State agencies received a total of $1 million in 1990 and $5 million in 1991. The administration's 1992 budget includes $8.5 million for the state grant program.
