FWS Convenes National Wetlands Values Assessment Workshop

The Western Energy and Land Use Team (WELUT) and the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service were lead sponsors of the National Wetland Values Assessment Workshop, held May 22-26 in Alexandria, Virginia. The purpose of the workshop was to evaluate the Federal Highway Administration’s (FHWA’s) recent methodology for assessment of wetland functions and values.
