Summary
The administrations proposed revisions to the 1989 Federal Manual for Identifying and Delineating Jurisdictional Wetlands will cause many problems with the wetlands of New England. Casualties include deregulation of areas commonly included as wetlands, the loss of good science, and the disappearance of public credibility.
