I am writing concerning the recent article by Nancy Karraker entitled “Road De-icers Used Near Wetlands: Are They Worth Their Salt?” (National Wetlands Newsletter, January-February 2006). I’ve admired the newsletter for its factual, scientific contribution to the discussion of environmental policy. I could quibble about some of Ms. Karraker’s phrasing in the article….
