Wetland Conservation and the 2007 Farm Bill

Congress reviews and revises the farm bill roughly every six years. Though farm bills once were primarily mechanisms for establishing agricultural price supports, recent bills have provided extensive funding for conservation activities. The authors describe the wetland issues at stake in debate over the 2007 legislation.
