Wetland Grasses and Gases: Are Tidal Wetlands Ready for the Carbon Markets?

Whether wetlands are suitable candidates for achieving carbon offsets has been a growing topic of interest, with the science showing that wetlands are both sources and sinks of greenhouse gases. A national panel of experts concluded in the summer of 2010 that tidal wetlands show strong potential for the carbon markets.
